Isabelle is supporting science that seeks to build public awareness, education, and mobilization on major threats faced by marine mammals around the world, including entanglement and pollution. In the last five years, Isabelle has been exploring the impacts of fast-changing ecosystems on marine mammals, documenting the long-term work of dedicated scientists who study the animals in the field, the tools they use, the approaches they take to build knowledge, and the connections they develop.
Isabelle hopes this visual journey will help promote curiosity for what it takes to understand species in a changing world, as well as intergenerational dialogue in science and conservation for the future of marine mammals.
